Alex Argôlo

Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Performance and Rehabilitation Specialist

Originally from Brazil, Alex brings over 20 years of experience supporting both amateur and professional athletes, from foundational development through to high performance training.

His work combines functional movement assessment, sport specific performance programming, and evidence based exercise prescription for injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, and return to sport outcomes. Alex is recognised internationally for his work with professional athletes, reflecting his strong reputation in performance and rehabilitation.

Alex has advanced training in Functional Movement Systems (FMS), EXOS Performance, and the Cooper Mentorship, alongside international programs focused on building athletic performance safely and progressively.

Where clinically appropriate, Alex also integrates selected manual therapy techniques within his extended postgraduate scope of training. These approaches may be used to complement active rehabilitation and improve movement capacity.

His broader skill set includes NeuroKinetic Therapy, Kinetic Link Training, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM), cupping, joint compression flossing, biomechanical taping, and therapeutic exercise based rehabilitation.

Bruno Spíndola

Remedial Massage & Manual Therapy Practitioner

Bruno is an experienced remedial massage therapist with a strong background in manual therapy, pain management, and functional movement. He is fully accredited, and remedial massage sessions with him are eligible for Private Health Insurance rebates, depending on your level of cover and health fund provider.

With years of hands-on clinical experience, Bruno takes a patient-centred approach to every session, focusing on reducing pain, improving mobility, and supporting recovery from both acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based techniques such as soft tissue release, myofascial therapy, joint mobilisation, and movement-based interventions.

His advanced training includes Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy, Fascia Manipulation, Visceral Manipulation (Barral Institute), Laser Therapy/Photobiostimulation, and other integrative methods that enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Before moving to Australia, Bruno supported athletes in Brazil across training and competition, providing remedial massage and manual therapy to assist recovery, manage load-related soreness, and reduce injury risk.

Bruno is currently pursuing a Master’s by Research at Bond University.

Maddie Mitchell

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Maddie is dedicated to using exercise as a powerful clinical tool, supporting clients across a wide range of needs, from long-term health conditions to athletic performance. She delivers evidence-based, personalised exercise prescription for chronic disease management, including diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis and cardiovascular conditions, and provides support throughout cancer treatment and recovery.

Her clinical expertise also includes musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with a focus on tendinopathy, ACL and meniscus injuries, ligament tears and complex post-surgical recovery. Maddie also works with athletes to build a foundation of strength and power, improve movement quality, and reduce injury risk through targeted performance training.

With a background in strength and conditioning and experience coaching sports teams, Maddie’s approach is shaped by her own experience as an athlete and her interest in human performance and injury recovery. She brings a practical, well-rounded perspective to every program, whether the goal is improving day-to-day function or returning to peak performance.
